FAQ
Can I resize these signs for different bin sizes without losing readability?
Yes, the PDFs are designed to print clearly at most sizes, but test a small printout first. For very large bins, increase font size while keeping the labels balanced so text remains legible from a few feet away. Avoid scaling beyond 150% unless you’re using a high-resolution printer.
Do these signs include symbols or just text for international use?
This collection includes text-based labels, which work well for English-speaking regions. For global use, pair these with universal recycling symbols (like the chasing arrows) or translate the text. Some templates include blank spaces where you can add local language or specific material codes.
How can I make these signs last longer in high-traffic areas?
Laminate the signs after printing to protect against moisture and frequent handling. For outdoor use, choose waterproof laminating pouches or print on heavyweight paper. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as UV rays can fade ink over time—use a shaded or covered area instead.
