FAQ
Can I print these papel picado templates on standard home printers?
Yes, all templates are designed to print on standard home or office printers, including laser and inkjet models. For best results, use high-quality paper (like cardstock) to ensure the perforations cut cleanly. If printing multiple layers, allow the paper to dry between sheets to prevent smudging.
Are these templates suitable for outdoor events where they might get wet or windy?
While the templates are print-ready for indoor or temporary outdoor use, they are not weatherproof. For outdoor events, consider laminating the finished banners or placing them under cover to protect against wind and moisture. Avoid using them in heavy rain or prolonged outdoor exposure.
Do the templates include instructions for cutting or assembling the papel picado?
The PDF templates feature clear cut lines and perforations, so no additional instructions are included. Simply print, fold along the dotted lines, and cut along the solid lines to create the traditional perforated effect. For best results, use sharp scissors or a craft knife to ensure clean cuts.
