FAQ
What’s the difference between a ‘fillable’ and a ‘blank’ Boone and Crockett score sheet?
A fillable PDF lets you type measurements directly into the digital form using a PDF editor, which is great for hunters who want to save time or transfer data to a spreadsheet later. A blank PDF requires handwritten entries or printing, which is useful if you’re working in the field with limited digital tools or prefer a permanent paper record.
Do these score sheets include the specific formulas for calculating Boone and Crockett scores?
Yes, all templates include the standard Boone and Crockett scoring formulas, with dedicated fields for each measurement (like inside spread, beam length, or horn circumference) and the automated calculations that sum them into a final score. This ensures you’re following the same rules used by official record-keeping organizations.
Can I use one of these score sheets to verify a trophy before submitting it to a record-keeping program?
These templates provide a starting point for measuring and calculating scores, but official record-keeping programs like Boone and Crockett Club may require their own verified forms or additional documentation. Use these sheets to practice measurements or for personal tracking, but always follow the submission guidelines of the program you’re applying to.
